you know that crazy time of year. people frivilously spending money, bright flashing lights, a fat dude in a velvet suit and everyone hyped up on sugar/alcohol/being in the moment. it’s amazing just how much christmas is like vegas.
anyway, it’s also a busy busy time of year (unless your stock and trade is easter eggs, then it’s lull time) and being the busy ninjas that we are, it’s all nose to the grindstone around here.
that being said, though, we can take on another custom blog design for release in the new year. that’s 2 more slots then we’re all full up for the year folks and everyone else will have to wait until january. so get in quick if you’re after some custom blog work.

so as mentioned in the previous post, we’ve been some busy busy ninjas. not only have there been the shenannigans as previously mentioned, but we actually did some work too!
Head in the Clouds Photography (find it here)
Kate wanted something that tied all her current branding together while still being elegant and clean. not to brag or anything, but it was literally a case of her falling in LOVE with the first draft and just slight refinements. ok, maybe we want to brag a little bit ;)
Rachel Richter Photography (check it out here)
now as much as we would like to claim all the credit for Rachel new Blogsite, she came to us knowing just what she wanted. and that makes the process so very easy. we’re particularly fond of the drop downs at the top :)
KMU Photography (linky linky)
Kristen needed a website. she had no web pressence and in the growing digital age she was missing out on a huge market. since getting her site up, Kristen tells us she’s gotten a tonne of compliments and enquiries. chalk another one up for the good guys!
Melinda Anne Photography (click here)
Melinda contacted us and wanted a blogsite. She had some truly awesome marketing materials that made it very easy to match the layout to what she wanted. the colours all work so well and this one seemed to just fall together.
there’s more to come, so keep checking back!

been a long time since this got updated. 5 months!
the last five months has been filled with a war with the pirates (16 pirates!), gummi bear hunting, and training little ninjas to do our evil doings.
oh, and we also partnered up with Flashpalette. Exciting times. we’ve been working with flashpalette to create wordpress blog themes to match some of their sites and the first cab off the rank in their Debra. and our blog to go along with it.
take a look, check it out and maybe get yourself a new site and blog ;)

how many times have you gotten a song in your head and wanted to check the lyrics, but then gotten bogged down by slow and ad filled lyrics sites? the ninjas love song lyrics, we have a trained monkey on staff just to find and display lyrics to current tracks via an overhear projector. monkeys can be useful like that. since finding this site, we have trained our monkey to only get and display lyrics from here. the monkey is however allowed to visit other sites between lyrics posting. we feel it’s only right. we’re against animal cruelty, and that includes restricting their internet access. our monkey likes looking up old friends on facebook.
so for all your lyrical needs, go visit the Lyric Wiki.

ninja number nine back in the blogging saddle. I thought i might start telling you folk about things the ninja love and recommend. this will hopefully be ongoing, as we love many things.
for today, the ninjas recommend Media Layer. Media Layer are a kickass hosting company. Fantastic reliability, fairly cheap packages, but most of all, THE BEST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER! now we ninjas are a clever bunch, but there are things even out of our realm of expertise. when we emailed the media layer guys, we had a real person respond almost immediately, and fix all our issues so super fast. We’ve since recommended them to a few people and have gotten similar reports. the Media Layer techs were happy to completely transfer across one clients site and proofing galleries, setting them up to work prefectly. not only was this incredibly helpful, but it also made for a completely seemless transfer between the old and the new hosting company, which is a big deal when you run a business.
the ninjas cannot recommend Media Layer highly enough. Go check them out!

ninja number nine is sick and has been for a few days, so the powers that be decided that i, the lowly intern ninja, should take over posting duties for a day or two.
It’s been an experience, interning with these guys. i was expecting coffee runs, cleaning toilets and general grunt work. apparently though, they’ve got a well tuned system of people for that stuff. i’m quickly learning that you just cant predict just what it is that a ninja internship will involve. So far i’ve hauled dozens of litres of water in the shoulder bucket things, been made to learn, word for word, every second of the karate kid movies (even the one with the girl karate kid in it!), spent 37 hours as a bavarian barmaid (outfit and all!) and been fed a special ninja diet of wasabi pizza and sushi dog (yes, sushi + hot dogs).
and now blog posting. awesome.
i think i’m envious of the crappy jobs normal interns get.

If you’ve been checking out blogs lately, you may have noticed a new trend. Blogsites are the way of the future. Roll your blog and your website into one, and you’ve got a dynamically changing site (which search engines LOVE), and all your content and information in one place.
a fine example of this is Jessica Claire’s blogsite. everything right there, as well as frequent updates.
Blogsites are the new wave. If you’re looking for a convenient and dynamic site, this is the way to go. and of course, we’ll be more than happy to help you out ;)
